I heard no movie download notices have been sent only music so far- is this correct??

That's right. There hasn't been any news of New Zealand Federation Against Copyright Theft (NZFACT), local representative of the major film studios, sending infringement notices. Apparently, the reason is the $25 fee that IPAPs can charge per infringement notice for processing. The Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ) was willing to participate in the 3strikes regime and pay the fees.
